JUST IN: Akufo-Addo REACTS to Martin Amidu’s RESIGNATION as Special Prosecutor

    The presidency has reacted to former Attorney General, Martin Amidu’s resignation as the Special Prosecutor.

    Martin Amidu resigned from the post yesterday alleging that he could not execute his functions well because of interference from the presidency.

    A day after his resignation from the position, the presidency has issued a statement reacting to his decision.

    “The presidency thanks you for your service to the state and wishes you the best in your future endeavours…,” a letter signed by the Chief of Staff, Frema Osei Opare concluded.
