The two rival halls in the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), the University Hall, also known as Katanga and Unity Hall, also known as Continentals have clashed at the campus of the University.
The cause of the clash is not yet known but videos which has since gone viral on social media show students of the two halls pelting each other with stones.
In one of the videos, a student is seen flying high the flag of Katanga while his colleagues try to pelt the Conti rivals which stones and any other weapon they can lay their hands on.
Attempts by the Kantanga boys to advance however were halted several times as the Conti Boys were seen attacking in full force with other weapons.
Police Officers who arrived at the scene in a pick up looked on helpless despite serving as a buffer.
The clash comes barely two weeks after students of the Mensah Sarbah Hall and Commonwealth Hall clashed on the campus of the University; a clash which led to the stealing of the bust of astute Lawyer, John Mensah Sarbah by unkown persons.
The Hall Master and Tutor of Commonwealth Hall have since been relieved of their posts temporarily; an action which has since been protested against by the members of the Commonwealth Hall.
Videos of the clash between Katanga and Conti boys are shown below.
