Dancehall artistes, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy have been granted GHC 50,000 bail each by an Adjabeng Magistrate Court. GhanaNewsPage.Com can confirm.

The court presided over by Magistrate Isaac Addo also asked the two to provide one surety each.

The duo were put before the Adjabeng court in Accra facing charges preferred against them by the Police.

Shatta Wale is facing a charge of offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace while Stonebwoy has been charged with offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace and display of a firearm in public without permission.

Lawyers Jerry Avenyor and Selali Wonya represented Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy respectively.

The case has been adjourned to June 20, 2019.

The two were cautioned to be of good behaviour while the case is ongoing.

A brawl erupted between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale camps at the 20th anniversary of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Sunday.

Pandemonium broke out shortly after Stonebwoy was announced the winner of ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year when Shatta Wale and his team were seen going towards the stage, their intentions unclear.

Stonebwoy pulled out a gun on stage in the midst of the scuffle as some of his team members try to shield the gun.

The fight disrupted the Awards for almost 30 minutes. Some guests, including actress Jackie Appiah, rushed out of the venue.
