Ken Ofori-Atta is WORST Finance Minister Ghana has ever had – Adongo

Minority Spokesperson on Finance, Albert Adongo, has described Ken Ofori-Atta as the worst Finance Minister to have ever managed the country’s finances.

According to Mr Adongo, Ken Ofori-Atta lacks every quality that a Finance Minister ought to possess and that accounts for the reason why he has succeeded in mismanaging the country’s economy.

His bad management skills, the Bolgatanga Central Member of Parliament (MP) speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com has accounted to the country resorting to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for support.

“The worst Finance Minister under the 4th Republic is Ken Ofori-Atta…he knows nothing…,: he said.

Ghana is seeking as much as $1.5 billion from the International Monetary Fund to shore up its finances and win back access to the global capital markets.

The continent’s second-biggest cocoa and gold producer reversed a policy decision not to seek assistance from the multilateral lender as the outlook for world economy worsened.

The final loan amount will be decided after initial assessments, Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta said in a phone interview, hours before talks began with the IMF in the nation’s capital, Accra.
