Yaw Acheampong will be in the dugout for Elmina Sharks in the upcoming Ghana Premier League season which kicks off this month.
The experienced tactician has been in charge of the ‘Sea Animals’ since 2017.
He has had previous coaching experience in the Ghanaian top flight division with AshantiGold SC.
The gaffer is a Ghanaian football legend and was part of the Olympic team who won the bronze medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona.
He played as a midfielder and featured in five of six games in the tournament.
Yaw gained 18 caps with the Black Stars, during five a year-stint. He appeared in two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments with the senior national team.
