Journalism has been my prior job during childhood. With all things been so good for me, I am able to achieve my aim and fulfill the promise I made to my family. I am now a renowned sports journalist working with Ghana News Page.

Ghana Premier league club, Asante Kotoko, will on Friday name owner of Phar Rangers FC Nana Yaw Amponsah as the new CEO of the club.

The Porcupine Warriors dissolved their board of directors including the Chief Executive Officer, George Amoako, after the three-year mandate expired this year.

The former Ghana Football Association Presidential candidate has been linked to the job in the last few months and attended an interview with the club’s board in July.

After consultation with Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Board of Directors have now been given the green light to make his appointment public.

The club has been without a substantive CEO since the new board was installed in May 2020.

After months of searching, it looks like Kotoko have found Nana Yaw Amponsah capable of leading the club.

Nana Yaw Amponsah holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Master’s Degree in Sports Law and Practice from the Leicester DE Monort University, UK.

From 2008 to 2018, he was a Licensed Player Agent/Intermediary and transferred over 50 players from Ghana and almost 100 across the globe, which brought huge revenues to Ghanaian Clubs in the process.

He will be tasked with transforming the club into one of the best football brands on the continent.

Nana Yaw Amponsah will officially replace Joseph Yaw Adu, who is currently the acting CEO of the club.
