Kotoko will sell Mbella and Mfegue when… – Nana Yaw Amponsah

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has said that the Porcupine Warriors are ready to do sell Cameroonian play makers, Frack Mbella and George Mfegue.

According to him, the current League Champions will not relent on the decision to make some profits out of the two players who were a revelation in the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League.

“We’ll sell Mbella when the right offer comes…Mbella and Mfegue were not Kotoko’s first choice during the recruitment but we had to fall on them when the first choice did not work for us…,” he said in an interview on Adom TV monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com.

“Mbella and Mfegue are very happy, they say they are going for holidays, but when something happens and we have to let them go, we would do so.”

He also said Kotoko will sell other players who did not do well during the season.

“We will lose players, some did not perform, we have to sack them, others also performed well and want to seek greener pastures elsewhere, we have to let them go.”
