While Hearts fans insist Salifu is better because he has so far won seven Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award in the ongoing league and ought to be celebrated because of his impact on games, Kotoko fans have argued that Fabio Gama has been the engine room of Mariano Bareto side this season.

They have insisted Fabio Gama scores important goals and creates assists for the team which currently sits second on the league log with a game in hand.

The Porcupines again argued that the Brazilian who once claimed he knows nothing about the arch rivals of Kotoko should be given all necessary credit because he is playing his first season in the Ghana League.

Commenting on this on Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com, the veteran football commentator said Fabio Gama deserves the accolade because he has more intelligence in the game than Ibrahim Salifu.

He however admitted that Salifu has more strength than Gama.

“Salifu is more combative in terms of physicality he beats Gama but in terms of raw football intelligence, reading the game & passing, Gama is ahead.”
