The outstanding contribution of the largest media conglomerate to the development of and presentation of media contents in Ghana was acknowledged at the 9th edition of this year’s Foklex Media Awards.

Staff of the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) won up to nine awards at the event which was widely patronized.

The awards saw lots of media personalities honored for excelling in their respective broadcasting fields.

Female Newscaster of The Year 2019/2020(Akan) – Obaasima Serwaa Akoto – Angel 102.9 FM

Male Newscaster of The Year 2019/2020 (Akan) – Kwadwo Dickson– Angel 102.9 FM

Best Morning Show Host of The Year (Greater Accra) 2019-2020 – Captain Smart – Angel 102.9FM

Entertainment Show Host of The Year (Eastern Region) 2019-2020 – Action DJ – Taste 90.9 FM

Morning Show Host Of the Year (Central Region) 2019-2020 – Shaq B – Darling FM

Reporter of the Year 2019-2020 (Ashanti Region) – Osei Kwadwo – Pure FM

Entertainment Program Host Of The Year (Central Region) – 2019-2020 –Candy Man- Darling FM

Drive Time Presenter of The Year (BONO, BONO EAST & AHAFO REGIONS)
2019-2020 – Tactical Shifo – Cheers FM

The only digital channel of the conglomerate owned by business mogul, Dr Kwaku Oteng, Angel TV, was also honored with a citation for their support and partnership in this year’s award scheme.

ABN is currently the fastest growing media conglomerate in Ghana. It has one television station and over 16 radio stations radio stations across the country.
