Residents of Lashibi Community 14 in the Greater Accra Region are furious over what they say is the illegal demolition of their houses.

They have accused one Ato Lindsay of pulling down a fence wall around their properties without recourse to the law.

According to them, Mr. Lindsay led a security company called CPS to pull down their structures.

Nii Kwei Mensah, a member of the Nii Odartey Tse We, speaking at a press conference in Accra, cautioned Mr Ato Lindsay and Vodafone to stay off the said property or face their wrath.

“He asked me who am I looking for, when I called him (Ato Lindsay), but he told me he’s not the one but my friend later spoke to him… by then I was with TDC Taskforce and the district commander”…he said

He explained that “TDC is aware of this demolition, all their taskforce were here yesterday. We were with them yesterday, we realized the people said they will come and do another demolition exercise again”

They later called on the government of Ghana to come to their aid.

“We want the general public to be aware of what is going on here…..We cannot disclose the next step on air”

They are using the government’s name to tarnish the name of the government which some of us think its not true”

“We just want the government to come to our aid”…..he concluded
