Mr Duncan said this on Accra-based Peace FM’s Kokrokoo while reacting to claims by the former President that corruption has become very rampant under the Akufo-Addo administration.

The former President had expressed shock at the bad management of the economy under President Akufo-Addo which he said has led to the collapse of indigenous banks in the country.

But the Minister insists the former President should be the last person to accuse any leader of this country of being corrupt.

“He (President Mahama) turned the Jubilee House into corruption promotion centre so he lacks the right to criticize Akufo-Addo on corruption…,” he said.

The Minister however blamed the Akufo-Addo Government for giving former President John Mahama the opportunity to tag the government as corrupt.

Mr Duncan therefore called for the speedy prosecution of corrupt individuals in the erstwhile Mahama administration.
