The floodwater has covered the entire stretch of the Santasi road and made it quite impossible for vehicles to move.

Because it was nightly, it made it even more worse as some drivers drove unknowingly into ditches covered by rainwater.

According to reports, a toddler feared to have drowned at Sawaba near Affordable Housing Estate in Kumasi after the downpour.

The child was travelling with the mother on a tricycle, popularly known as ‘pragyia’, when they got stuck in floodwaters.

In an attempt to continue the journey on foot, the child was swept away by the floods.
