Medeama transfer roundup: Abass Mohammed will be a huge asset for us – Samuel Boadu

    The head coach for Medeama SC, Samuel Boadu has emphasized that he is optimistic new signing Abass Mohammed will be a huge asset for the club.

    The Ghana Premier League giants on Friday announced that they have completed the signing of the former striker on a 2-year contract.

    Retuning to Medeama SC, Abass Mohammed is to serve as an outright replacement for striker Prince Opoku Agyemang who has been loaned to South African club Cape Town City FC.

    Speaking on the new signing, Coach Samuel Boadu has expressed his delight while noting that the forward will play a key role for the team to help the club achieve its ambitions.

    “Abass is a fantastic player and a top professional and we are very happy to have him here with us. He understands the philosophy of this great club and will be a huge asset for us.

    “I am happy he has returned to Medeama to contribute significantly to the drive, ambition, and passion of the club”, the Medeama SC coach said as quoted on the website of the club.

    Coach Samuel Boadu continued, “We look forward to an exciting time with him and others in the upcoming season. We are delighted to be able to add his versatility and quality to the squad before the season starts.”

    Ahead of the start of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season, Medeama SC is scheduled to host Great Olympics on November 15.
