Member of Parliament for Abetifi Constituency in the Eastern Region and Minister of National Security, Hon Bryan Acheampong has instructed the organizers of the annual concert “Bliss on the Hills” to collect a sum of ¢80,000 from controversial dancehall King, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale or he (Bryan Acheampong) will sue him.

Shatta Wale was billed to perform at “Bliss on the Hills” concert in December 2018 but failed to show up after taken full payment.

Speaking with Nabil Alhassan a member of the organizers’ team in an interview, he confirmed Shatta Wale got all the money he charged before the show.

“We paid him and in fact, his management team came for the balance in the afternoon of the event day but Shatta Wale refused to show up that same night to perform as agreed”, he revealed.

It’s been 3 months now and Shatta Wale has refused to pay back the money so the MP is, therefore, asking him to do the right thing before he strikes.
