The Ghana Police Service is reporting that they have arrested six persons in connection with the missing excavators.
The six including the suspended deputy Central Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ekow Ewusi were arrested following a complain from the Minister of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation (MESTI), Prof Kwabena Frimpong Boateng.

The Police in a statement named the others as: Frederick Ewusi; Joel Asamoah; Adnan Haruna; Frank Gyan and John Arhin.
The prime suspect, the Police mentioned was arrested at Abelenkpe in Accra.
