    Mohammed Kudus injury not serious – Mother confirms

    Ghana and Ajax SC midfielder, Kudus Mohammed had a bad start to his champions league campaign with his new team, Ajax. The midfielder was substituted after picking up an early injury in the game against Liverpool.

    There has been growing concerns about the longevity of the injury but the mother of the player, Mariama Suleman has clarified these concerns by revealing the conversation she has with the player after the injury.

    “He assured me that the injury is not a serious one so I shouldn’t worry because he will be fine and will come back sooner and stronger” She spoke with Happy fm.

    “I spoke with Kudus around 12am . He actually called to console me because somebody told him I was sad about his injury. He told me he will go back to the hospital today for further check ups. I am positive that things will be fine. Allah knows best

    “I was very happy when he wrapped the flag of Ghana around him . I couldn’t hold back my tears as a proud mother. I was very proud as a mother. He showed that he is proud of his country and his root“
