Ghanaian Hip Hop artist, Isaac Akuffo known in showbiz as Koo Ntakra has recounted how record label Bullhaus entertainment wasted his time.

According to him, Bulldog did not help him achieve his dream under his record label.

“If you talk about the mainstream artist, I think you cannot forget Koo Ntakra when you talk about the big guys in industry. Am still in the industry pushing”

Speaking to Nana Kwesi Asare on Accra based Class FM monitored by, Koo Ntakra which literally means ‘Feathers’ said he only received 20 percent of the Ghc100,000 cedis after he was emerged winner of the MTN Ghana Hitmaker Season 2.

Koo Ntakra who is touted as one of the major proponents of the ‘Akuapem Rap’ told Nana Kwesi Asare “the taste of fame is no more. I still eat my waakye on the street”

“I received only 20 percent of the out of the Ghc100,000 cedis. I used that money to solve my problems after the reality show so they used 80, 000 to manage Koo Ntakra”

I only worked with Bulldog for a year. Bulldog did a lot for Koo Ntakra but it wasn’t enough because as an upcoming artist starting your career with Ghc80,000 I think you can do much than where I am today. He would have done better than this”…he said

He further added, “Bullhaus did one video and one album for Koo Ntakra out of the Ghc80,000. I remember we went to MTN to account for the money but he told me they spent about Ghc20,000 with my video with Yaa Pono. I’m not sure he spent that money”

If Koo Ntakra is holding Ghc8o,000 today I think I’ll be more than Jay Z. My problem now is financial problem. There’s no big money to push me there.

I think I will be bigger than Jay Z starting my career with Ghc80,000 today.

Koo Ntakra in 2013 after winning MTN hitmaker was billed on stage for the annual ‘Legends & Legacy’ Concept with celebrated high life Legend AB Crentsil.

Koo went on that year to record with Nigeria based artiste WondaBoy, which featured on his debut album, Akuaba.
