Ghanaian veteran musician Gyedu-Blay Ambolley has advised delegates to reject candidate Bessa Simon in the MUSIGHA election.

According to him, Bessa Simons has nothing to offer because of the hypocrisy around him.

Speaking to Nana Kwesi Asare on Accra based Class Fm monitored by GhanaNewsPage.com, afro jazz musician said, the hypocrisy around candidate Bessa Simons will not help the goodness of Ghana Music.

Asked who has the prospect to lead MUSIGHA to the right direction, Mr Ambolley chose Ras Caleb Levi.

“I’ve known Ras for sometime now, he’s been behind me when I was contesting and I know what he can bring, he said

To me, Bessa Simons has nothing to offer because of the hypocrisy around him will does not help the situation to go on.

Ambolley added, he will choose Ras Caleb because Bessa Simons followed Obour’s administration which did nothing for the Music Industry.

“In between Bessa and Ras, I will choose Ras because Bessa went and followed Obour.

“When we were in Tema, where was Obour, you Bessa came from London and the things like that you need to focus on the right direction so that we can have the order, but you went and followed Obour.

With all the many things, you couldn’t stand and tell Obour the right direction for the industry. I don’t see his relevancy because a leader must be a leader.

You need to have a direction and a vision”
