General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has been bribing delegates to vote to retain him as the General Secretary of the party, former Central Regional Chairman of the party has claimed.
According to Bernard Allotey Jacobs, Asiedu Nketia has been given delegates huge sums of monies to reject his opponent, Koku Anyidoho.
The former NDC former chair who has never been a fan of the vociferous scribe said Asiedu Nketia is doing so because he knows he is not fit to lead the party again.
“How can Asiedu Nketia of all people be bribing delegates for them to vote for him…am even shocked Asiedu Nketia is campaigning, formerly he never campaigned because he thought he was the embodiment of NDC…,” he said.
Bernard Allotey Jacobs is on record for urging party delegates to vote out General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, during national executive elections.
According to him, some executives at the party’s headquarters have organised themselves into a mafia and are stalling the progress of the party ahead of general elections in 2020.
“Asiedu Nketia doesn’t respect, very indisciplined…he thinks the NDC belongs to him but here he is today bribing people to vote for him…,” he alleged further.
