The Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs has predicted that former President, John Dramani Mahama will win the Presidential primaries of the party hands down.

Speaking on Accra-based Peace FM as monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com, Allotey Jacobs said the primaries will be a ‘cool chop’ for the ex-President.

According to him, the former President will win the elections because he stands tall among all other contestants for the position.

“No matter how hard they (Presidential aspirants) try, President Mahama will win the primaries hands down…there will be some difficulties but he would still win…,” he said.

Six persons have so far expressed interest in leading the NDC ahead of the 2020 polls.

So far Professor Joshua Alabi, Mr. Sylvester Mensah, Mr. Alban Bagbin and Dr. Ekow Spio Garbrah have all announced their intentions to contest the presidential candidacy of the opposition NDC including Mr. Stephen Atubiga.

But Allotey Jacobs insists, the other competitors are no match for the former President.
