Incumbent Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Kobina Ade Coker has declared his intention to seek re-election.

The incumbent chairman has been widely criticized for his inability to win enough votes to guarantee the NDC victory in the 2016 elections.

Many have called on him to resign from the position following the abysmal performance of the party in Greater Accra and Ghana as a whole.

Ade Coker will however not have any of these as according to him, he still have what it takes to lead the NDC in the Greater Accra Region.

GhanaNewsPage.Com spotted posters of Ade Coker in town and he indeed confirmed his intention on UTV’s Adekye Nsoroma on Tuesday.

“Yes, I am contesting for the position, I am running again for the Greater Accra seat…,” he said on the show.

It is not yet known the persons who will contest him for the seat.
