NDC race: Ofosu-Ampofo HOT as Asiedu Nketia CHASES him for his post

    The National Chairman of the main opposition political party, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo is in hot waters as the most popular person in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is chasing him for his seat.

    Mr Asiedu Nketia who has been the General Secretary of the NDC for more than three terms is seeking to upgrade himself in the party by seeking for the highest position in the party after the flagbearer.

    General Mosquito as he is known and called decided on leading the NDC as a chairman following the party’s abysmal performance of the party in the 2020 elections.

    Some aggrieved supporters of the NDC accused the Ofosu-Ampofo-led executives of failing to organise an independent collation of the NDC’s results in the polls which the NDC hoped to win hands down.

    Former Flagbearer hopeful of the party, Stephen Atubiga had accused the NDC of putting up a ‘sports betting’ centre which failed to collate a single results for the party founded by the late President John Rawlings.

    The executives including the NDC’s Director of IT, Osei Kwame Griffiths ought to resign for letting the NDC and John Mahama down.

    “Griffiths should resign; that Binduri internet café he did ah! Look I can use yam phone to collate results in my living room; you don’t need any rocket science strategy,” he fumed on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen after the party was defeated.

    The woes of the NDC was deepened when the party failed to produce a single result at the court’s to defend their claim that former President John Mahama ought to be declared winner of the 2020 polls.

    The man who was talked down as the Vice Presidential candidate for John Mahama hopes to lead the party into the 2024 election where the NDC has vowed to unseat the NPP.
