Not even Ronaldo can STOP me from celebrating Black Stars – Bagbin


    Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has said that he is hoping the senior national team, Black Stars, will beat the Seleção of Portugal when the two lock horns in the first game of the ongoing 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

    The Black Stars and the Portuguese are playing the first match in Group F; a group which also consist of South Korea and Uruguay.

    Ghanaians are optimistic that the senior national team will beat the team led by five-time Ballon D’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo.

    This optimism was taken to Parliament where the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta will be reading the budgetary estimates of the 2023 fiscal year.

    Member of Parliament (MP) after Member of Parliament (MP) took turns to wish the Black Stars well and were all hopeful the team led by Dede Ayew will beat the former European Champions.

    Alban Bagbin was left out of the list of people wishing the MPs good luck as he wished the team well.

    “Not even Ronaldo can stop my celebration…,” he said on the floor of the house.
