    OFFICIAL: Legon Cities sack Goran Barjaktarevic after poor start to the season

    Legon Cities have confirmed the sacking of Head Coach Goran Barjaktarevic with immediate effect.

    The Bosnian has struggled during his time with the Royals, losing his opening two games of the 2020/21 campaign.

    In a brief statement signed by the club’s Communications Director, Kwame Dwomoh  Agyemang, Legon Cities wished the 51 year old well in his future endeavors, and disclosed plans to hire a new head coach in the coming days.

    Former Hearts of Oak Head Coach Kim Grant and former Ghana U23 coach Ibrahim Tanko are among the front runners for the vacant position.
