First World
Second World
Third World
No World!

Corona corrodes the core
And levels all the levels
Of who thinks they’re mighty
Forever soaring in real or imaginary skies
And who feels they’re termites
Forever condemned to scuttle the earth.

The smell of pain and death
Hangs in the dearth of everything essential
But the aroma of recoveries
Is stronger and mightier and trendier!

We wait with hope for healing for all
In the confusion of what the virus is
And is not!

Health to frontline workers!
Wealth to those who have lost businesses!

One day posterity will hear and read
What a grandsire has told and written
Of a virus so powerful
It made the powerful so powerless!
