Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong believes that it’s time the New Patriotic Party (NPP) rejuvenates its base.
He argues that the grassroots will be very essential to the party’s victory in 2024 and so they should not be made to feel they have been relegated and made an extinct wing of the party.
“If we are together as one and we rejuvenate the base of the party and put that enthusiasm in our party so that they don’t complain that we rejected them after winning the elections. The chances are that if we vote and count the ballot, we are likely to win.”
He continued “most of the time, it is we those in power who make us lose the election. We don’t do what is right so we should look at making things right. We need to bring everyone on board. A party is like the Jehovah’s witness, we go and canvas for votes”.
Ing Kwabena Agyepong said when he was sacked together with other colleagues, the party created a narrative just to fit in for what they did against them which was not true.
He indicated that it will be imperative for the party to do away with squabbles and ensure that everyone is brought on board for the success of the party.
