Deputy Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has described as ‘senseless’ persons accusing the former President, John Dramani Mahama of having a hand in the death of President John Evans Atta Mills.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com, Kwaku Boahen said it is ‘only people who have lost respect for the elderly that would accuse John Mahama of killing Atta Mills.’
“I am not sure anyone who was conceived for nine months will claim Mahama killed Mills…never, it is only people who are senseless that will make this claim or believe the claims…,” he said.
Kwaku Boahen made the statement in reaction to an allegation by the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, also known as Abronye DC that the former President has a hand in the death of President Mills.

The former President has denied the allegations and called on the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to investigate the matter.
In a letter to the CID, Mr Mahama also asked the CID to investigate Abronye for accusing him and some members of the NDC of plotting to kill some NPP personalities including him accuser (Abronye DC).
