A third year Midwifery student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and her two sisters perished when a vehicle they were travelling in was involved in an accident at Cape Coast, GhanaNewsPage.Com can confirm.

Miss Baaba Mensah Rachel and her siblings, GhanaNewsPage.Com gathered were among five occupants of the private vehicle.

The other occupants including a mother, her son, her two sisters and a girlfriend. The vehicle was being driven by the younger sister who lost control when one of the tyres burst.

Her mother and her son who sustained severe injuries are currently on admission at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.

The bodies of the deceased have been deposited at the Cape Coast morgue awaiting autopsy.
