Old hiplife act, Bak Tyre has today died of Tuberculosis in an undisclosed hospital, according to reports.

Baka Tyre as he was also known by is one of the few people whose name Ghanaians will always remember in the good books of hiplife music.

He made a nationwide hit with his song “Yen Pie” which featured Samini then called Batman in 2003.

This song landed him shows in and outside the country. Indeed it was a good song that still makes waves even till today.

Many were those who were wandering where this giant hiplife rapper was hiding but their curiosity was quenched when Giovanni Caleb got him on his show late last year when he was working on STAR FM.

The rapper seemed not to be in his best when he told listeners how drug had taken over his life.

May his soul rest in peace and tranquility.
