Some irate supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have allegedly pelted the Health Minister with stones for daring to commission a Polyclinic at Ajumako in the Central region.

The reason was that the NDC members claimed Mahama administration built the clinic thus will not allow the New Patriotic Party government to reap where they have not sown.

The irate MPs allegedly ignored pleas from their Member of Parliament (MP), Ato Forson, to allow the event to proceed.

The pleas notwithstanding, the angry youth threw stones at the Health Minister, Kwaku Agyeman Manu, chiefs of the area and other invited guests at the event.

Seth Kwame Boateng said but for the intervention of the police, the situation would have been worse.
