Journalism has been my prior job during childhood. With all things been so good for me, I am able to achieve my aim and fulfill the promise I made to my family. I am now a renowned sports journalist working with Ghana News Page.

The Youth and Sports Minister, Isaac Kwame Asiamah has urged the youth of the country to use their energies purposefully towards the development of our dear nation.

He disclosed that the youth are the bulwark of our economic, social, political and sporting success.

He has therefore appealed to them to use their knowledge, energies and time wisely for the development of the country.

He asked them to reject any offer to be violent rather they should be the agents of development in all their communities and the country as a whole.

The Minister who also doubles as the Member of Parliament for the Atwima Mponua Constituency in the Ashanti Region stated this after a well attended health walk in his constituency on Tuesday.

He called on the youth to take advantage of the numerous programmes the Nana Addo’s government is creating for all especially the youth.

These included free secondary education, planting for food and jobs, nation builders corps, various youth modules in forestry, sports, agriculture and business pitches organized by the Ministry of Business Development.

He asked the youth not allow disgruntled politicians or leaders to to use them to foment troubles before, during and after the December 2020 elections.

He believed that the next NPP government would continue to make the matters of the youth paramount.

He finally expressed his confidence that Ghanaians would massively give Nana Addo’s government another term.
