This comes as MPs4Mahama, a group of 96 Minority Members of Parliament who have declared their support for Mr Mahama’s bid to run for the NDC flag bearer slot ahead of the 2020 general elections, has so far mobilised 603 pledges of GHS1,000 each towards footing the filing fees of Mr Mahama.

Communicators of the ruling NPP has described these donations as a form of propaganda by the John Mahama campaign team.

Central Regional Vice Chairman of the NPP, Ekow Ewusi, has claimed that the monies donated to the campaign are given by the leadership of the NDC for that purpose.

He narrated how a paper from Central Region boarded a vehicle to Accra just to donate GHC 1.00 to the Mahama campaign.

“Imagine the cost of boarding a vehicle from his town to Mankessim, then board another to Kaneshie before getting to Cantoments, how much will that be? Does NDC think we are all gullible to their propaganda…,? He questioned
