Ghana’s 18- Premier League Clubs have accepted the FIFA relief fund disbursement formula from the Ghana Football Association.
The clubs took the decision after a marathon meeting with the leadership of the FA on Wednesday.
FA boss Kurt Okraku and General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo as well other Executive Council members Dr Toni Aubynn, Nana Sarfo Oduro and Samuel Anim Addo attended the crunch meeting.
The clubs had initially raised concerns as they were unhappy with the amount allocated to them by the GFA. The FA announced that $270,000 of the total $1.8 million will be shared amongst the clubs.
The top-flight clubs felt they deserved more, however, following the meeting they have now agreed to accept the amount allocated to them. This means each Premier League club will receive $15,000.
