Beloved in the Lord, I presume you have read, or at least, heard about the prophecy reported to have been given by prophet Owusu Bempah about the Moderator, Rt Rev Prof Cephas Omenyo.
Leaving aside the regrettable aspects of the issue such as, the apparent show of insensitivity to the feelings of wife, children, and family members of the Moderator; and the issue about whether the prophecy is from God or not, I wish to encourage you not to be discouraged but to continue to pray and believe strongly that God will bring deliverance to Papa Moderator.
May be you are familiar with the statement, ‘God reveals to redeem’. That is what is implied in the reported prophecy.
Owusu Bempah himself said that if we pray the death will not happen! Yes, know this, the prophecies of the Old Testament were not always meant to be fulfilled. They were meant to elicit repentance, obedience, and prayer for God to deliver. E.g. 2 Kings 20:1- 6.
So cheer up, child of God. There may be prophecies but most of them are not meant to be fulfilled, but to effect more godly responses in us. The healing process is going on; the Lord who has started it will accomplish it and we shall glorify Him.
