The American-based dissident government critic, Kevin Ekow Taylor has confirmed President Akuffo Addo forcefully “blocked me” from commenting on his page.

The founder of the “Loud Silence Radio and TV” reveals his side of the story according to a statement credited to his own social media account.

“Nana Akufo Addo so like joke like joke you have blocked me from commenting on your page, really? Ok, we dey here”

Meanwhile, many critics accused the presidency of violating Freedom of Speech.

According to them, public officials including the Office of President cannot block users because of the viewpoint.

“A site run by the government, or run by a public official for his public business, would likely be categorized as a public forum protected by forth Republican constitution of Ghana”

So far, the presidency has not publicly commented on the development but it remains to be seen whether the dissident politician would head to court especially when an arrest warrant hangs on his head.
