The Kuwaiti giants have ended their contract with the stalwart centre-back.
Kuwait Premier League side Al Qadsia SC have parted ways with Ghanaian defender Rashid Sumaila by mutual consent.
The 27-year-old reached an agreement with the Yellow and Black lads to abrogate his contract ahead of the 2020/21 season.
He had one-year left on his contract with Al-Qadsia SC after inking a contract extension in March.
Sumaila joined the Kuwaiti powerhouse from South African club Mamelodi Sundowns in 2015 for an undisclosed fee.
He won three trophies for the club during his spell.
