READ: How Rawlings SAVED Kweku Baako from being KILLED by Soliders

A friend of the late President, Jerry John Rawlings has revealed how he had wanted to eliminate the Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako for labelling the late leader a ‘bastard’.

According to Rihad Hosiefe who is now in Lebanon, he could not come to terms with the description of his best friend by a Journalist who was once upon a time a close ally of the late leader.

In an interview on Asempa FM monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com, Hosiefe said his hatred for the Journalist reached a crescendo after Kweku Baako was quoted as calling the ex-Ghanaian leader a ‘bastard’.

“I planned with some soldiers to kill Kweku Baako for insulting Rawlings. Rawlings heard it and warned us not to attempt to do that. He should always thank Rawlings…” he revealed in the interview.

He therefore called on Kweku Baako to thank the late Rawlings for saving his life.

“Kweku Baako owes his life to Rawlings. We could have killed him but for Rawlings’ intervention…,” he said.
