Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP), Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has said that he knows for sure that God never instructed the founder and leader of the Perez Chapel, Bishop Charles Agyinasare to tell untruths about the President, Nana Akufo-Addo.

Bishop Asare has been at the receiving end of several criticisms for condemning the collapse of several banks in the country.

The man of God had attributed the closure of the banks to ‘jealousy’ on the part of the Ghanaian government officials.

Reacting to this on Net 2 TV monitored by GhanaNewsPage.Com, the vociferous MP said Bishop Agyinasre made the claims out of ignorance.

The Legislator who has been on a mission to expose men of God he claimed are fake said he was concrete sure that God never told Bishop Agyinasare to make those ‘baseless’ claims.

“By the time I am done with him, everyone will know that God never instructed Agyinasare to come and make those baseless claims against the President…,” he said.

He said the claim that the bank collapse should be attributed to jealousy is never true.

“How can he make claims that it was out of envy that the NPP collapsed the banks when in the case of UniBank for instance, Duffour had admitted to transferring funds from his bank to another company…,” he added.

Ken Agyapong further tasked Bishop Agyinasere to ask himself why Nduom’s bank in the USA is working when GN Bank was not doing well.

“That bank in the USA is doing well because they obey the rules but over here, the Bank of Ghana was reluctant…,” he said.
