    StarTimes to invest $1 million in the coverage of the 2020/2021 league season

    Ghana Premier League official broadcast right holders, StarTimes have indicated that they will be investing over $1 million in the coverage of the 2020/2021 league season.

    In 2019, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) sealed a bumper deal with Africa’s leading pay-TV operator, making them Chinese-owned firm the official right holders of the Premier League and the FA Cup.

    Ahead of the new football season, StarTimes will be hugely involved to provide the best coverage for the Ghanaian top-flight league.

    At the official launch of the 2020/2021 football season today, Mrs. Akorfa Banson, Head of Marketing of StarTimes in Ghana has revealed that the firm is poised to invest a whopping $1 million in the coverage of the Ghana Premier League season.

    According to her, 8 camera’s will work on every matchday with multiple live games set to be broadcasted to fans every weekend.

    The new Ghana Premier League season is expected to kick off on the weekend of November 13-15 with Aduana Stars and Hearts of Oak set to light up Matchday 1 in a titanic encounter,
