GhanaNewsPage.Com has sighted a report that a top lawyer had tried to bribe ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas over his latest corruption film.

According to the report by Mynews, the lawyer, who is a very prominent one, was sent by a “big man” in the GFA to deliver a bribe to Anas.

However the lawyer was afraid to approach Anas, and so took the money back to the “big man”.

According to Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide, Abdul Malik Kwaku Baako, the offer is huge, but the lawyer could not gather courage to present it to Anas.

He added that the “big man” got wind that he has appeared in the “Number 12” video, and that prompted him to approach Anas for “something to be done”.

“I think someone who is close to Anas and knew that this job was going on went and did some Okro mouth so now the “big man” gave the lawyer money to go and give to Anas,” Kwaku Baako disclosed.

“The lawyer took the money and was scared to go and deliver it to Anas. So, eventually he had to go back to the man and say: ‘I couldn’t deliver the bribe, take it’. But of course we have found out. He’s a lawyer, very good lawyer, prominent lawyer”, Mr Baako Jr added.

The “Number 12” film is expected to be aired on June 6 2018, and the anxiety among Ghanaians is overwhelming.
