Uganda striker, Steven Mukwala has finally responded to the Asante Kotoko move. The striker is expected to be in Kumasi to finalize his deal.

“For now I can’t say much because we are still negotiating. We haven’t finished the deal yet.We are in talks and I hope for the best.”

This, follows a powerful campaign for Mukwala who finished as the 2019/20 Uganda Premier League top scorer with 13 goals with Maroons on loan from Vipers.

The former Ssingo and Bulemeezi player in Masaza Cup, was earlier strongly linked to join URA FC.

Asante Kotoko also approached Uganda Cranes defender Murushid Juuko and Striker Joel Madondo.

Joseph Ochaya and George Abege are the two Uganda Players to have played for Asante Kotoko.
