Voting is still underway at the fantasy dome of the Ghana International Trade Fair Centre in Accra where the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is holding it’s National Congress.

Voting which started around 3:00pm on Saturday has not come to an end as the delegates from the various constituencies are still casting their ballots.

The delay stems from the the failure of organisers to allow delegates cast their ballots on regional basis.

Instead, delegates from constituencies are called at random to cast their ballot, leading to a slow process.

Initially, there was congestion at the fantasy dome due largely to the inability of the air conditions to work perfectly.

Members of the press sent by their various media houses to cover the event slept over and are still awaiting the completion of the casting of the ballots.

Counting will then proceed immediately.
