    VIDEO: Akufo-Addo’s Minister declares intention to lead NPP in 2024

    Railways Minister, Joe Ghartey has declared his intention to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) after the exit of Akufo-Addo.

    In an interview intercepted by GhanaNewsPage.Com, the Essikado Ketan MP said he has what it takes to lead the NPP and is therefore waiting for the party to open nominations so he can contest to lead them into the 2024 elections.

    He further said his performance in the party’s primaries some time ago makes him the ideal candidate to lead the party.
