Residents of Navrongo in the Upper East Region were astounded when Aviation Minister, Kofi Adda landed in the town to file his nomination forms for the Navrongo Central Constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in a Military Helicopter.
Kofi Adda is facing stiff competition from the Upper East Regional Minister Tangoba Abayage over who becomes the NPP parliamentary candidate.
Hundreds of school children and party supporters had already gathered at Navrongo awaiting his arrival.
He later joined a vehicle to file his nomination forms.
