Some members of Oman Ghana Baako Group have arrived in Ghana to invest in the Ghanaian economy.

Oman Ghana is a group made up of Ghanaians living abroad.

The President of the group, Alex Appiah, told journalists at the Kotoka International Airport on Tuesday, 8 October 2019 that they will be embarking on a number of projects to help the country.

“We are back to help fix the problems in our economy, the heath sector, education and also help to fight corruption,” Mr Appiah said.

“We all know that corruption is what is killing our economy and, so, to ensure that we achieve the needed development, we need to help fight corruption and, so, we will do that.”

He added: “The members of the group are back to invest the little resource we have in our country and give back to society.”
