Social Media has been awash with photos of ladies who came tops in this year’s Miss Ghana beauty pageant attracting trolls
Ghanaians on social media trolled them and tagged them as ugly considering how the images appeared
But in an interview, the three ladies indicated that beauty is beyond what the eyes can see.
They mentioned that they have inner beauty and that is why they came tops among several ladies who competed for the crown.
They asked Ghanaians to desist from always selling negativity but push the positives of the country.
The 2019 winners of Miss Ghana are being trolled on Twitter for not being fit enough to represent the country anywhere in the world.
According to the many users of Twitter, the ladies chosen as this year’s queens are not beautiful while others alleged the ladies may have won because of favours.
This backlash comes after photos of the ladies were posted on Citi Tv’s Twitter handle.
Rebecca Nana Adwoa Kwabi, winner of the contest alongside Sarah Odei Amoani and Deborah Opoku Sarfo, 1st and 2nd runners up respectively, had their pictures shared on the channel’s twitter page as they readied for a live studio interview.
