    World Cup: PRAY for the Black Stars – Asamoah Gyan

    The General Captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan has rallied for support for the senior national team, Black Stars.

    The striker in a post on his social media page called on Ghanaians to offer all the needed support for the team which is currently in Dubai to partake in the 2022 edition of the World Cup.

    Coach Otto Addo on Monday named a 26-man squad for the munidal which promises to be very competitive.

    The announcement has come with mixed reactions from the Ghanaian public.

    But Asamoah Gyan has called for support for the team which will play its first Group match against Portugal.

    Asamoah Gyan posted:

    May be an image of 1 person and text that says 'ASAMOAH GYAN @ASAMOAHGYAN3 Everyone have shared his or her opinion about the BLACK STARS. 26 man squad is out now so what we have to do now is to support those in camp now. If u have any comments, wait till after the first game of the tournament. But for let's pray for the team to deliver now'
