Journalism has been my prior job during childhood. With all things been so good for me, I am able to achieve my aim and fulfill the promise I made to my family. I am now a renowned sports journalist working with Ghana News Page.

Aduana Stars head coach, Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin decried about the tough start handed to them for the new season but has expressed joy at playing Accra-based powerhouse Hearts of Oak at their fortress – Nana Agyemang Badu II park in Dormaa.

The Ghana Football Association on Thursday October 8 2020 released the fixtures of the forthcoming season which kick starts on November 3.

Among the top fixtures of match day one is Dormaa-based Aduana Stars squaring off against Hearts of Oak at the Nana Agyemang Badu II park.

Both sides shared the spoils in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season at the Nana Agyemang Badu II park with the return fixture not honoured due to the cancellation of the league owing to the prevalence of the novel coronavirus.

With both teams regarded as title contenders, the opening-day fixture can best be described as a cliffhanger and might go a long way in deciding who wins the forthcoming 2020/21 season.

Speaking to Pure FM about his side’s opening day tie against the Phobians, coach Paa Kwesi Fabin said: “You need to defeat Champions to become a champion but no coach would want to meet a big club to begin a season though but we are happy our opening game against Hearts Of Oak is at Dormaa.”

Since qualifying to the country’s elite division, Aduana Stars have clinched two titles with the last coming in 2018 and will be looking forward to make it three under the guidance of the experienced Paa Kwesi Fabin.
