“Your wife has no power over her body; everything belongs to you”- Apostle Hunter to men

TRENDING

“It takes effort to protect, nurture, and grow a marriage and between work schedules, children, and other obligations, sometimes it can seem impossible to maintain that partnership”, Apostle Z O Hunter has said.

According to the Man of God, When problems arise in marriages, some couples find that it’s healthier to divorce and go their separate ways but its wrong.

“If you want to stay with your partner and avoid divorce, the proactive measures you can take are prayers and counselling”

Speaking on No 1 Fm today 12th July, 2020, the Lawyer turned Man of God stated that making commitment in your marriage will help you focus on making your partnership stronger rather than thinking about what life might be like outside your marriage.

“Your wife has no power over her body. Everything belongs to the man. There’s no way you should deny your wife sex and go pray. You have to finish what is needed. God knows your heart…he said

He also said, “forgive your partner as quickly as possible if misunderstanding arises. Forgiveness is just as much a gift you give yourself. Holding a grudge takes up mental and emotional space and almost always impacts your health and stress levels”

“If you have wronged your partner, sincerely apologize and ask for their forgiveness, seek counselling and from a powerful man of God and pray about it.

Let your spouse know you will work on how to do things differently in the future instead of divorce”

“If you and your partner need more help, consider working with a marriage counselor or a religious leader if you share the same faith.

These individuals can help you get a new perspective and can point you toward additional services if needed”
