Doji Sonx Comments On Galamsey Following New Single Release

Ghanaian musician Doji Sonx, best known for his hit song “Yenko Nkoaa,” has voiced his thoughts on the ongoing #StopGalamseyNow protests, expressing skepticism about the movement’s long-term impact.

“Galamsey can’t be stopped. It will be talked about for a while, but the dust will settle, and it will continue,” Doji stated, suggesting that the issue has become deeply ingrained and is unlikely to see permanent change.

His comments come amid widespread protests in Ghana, where citizens have rallied against the environmental destruction caused by illegal mining.
